Anti-Bullying | Breakthrough - Raising Achievement
At Caludon Castle we recognise the importance of student voice work. Promoting meaningful student involvement provides opportunities for all students to take on roles of responsibility and develop leadership skills, get involved in real decision-making and become confident and active participants in the life of school and community. It is about students and staff working together, developing positive working relationships to improve the school as a learning community.
Student voice activities:
In our school, we are committed in 2008-9 to developing the following student voice initiatives:
• Peer mentoring and anti-bullying
• ECM working parties
• Class, Year and Executive councils
• Student Faculty Ambassadors
• Student interviewers
• Peer mediators
It is intended that students and staff are provided with opportunities to develop policy and practice during the academic year.
