GCSE RESULTS
Year 11 students recorded our best ever GCSE results in 2009. 92% of students gained 5+A*-C grades and 64% gained 5+A*-C GCSE grades including English and Maths. In addition 98% of students gained 5+A*-G grades and all of our students left with at least 1 GCSE qualification. Our Gifted and Talented students also performed very well with 17% of students getting 5 or more A* & A GCSE. These grades resulted from a range of qualifications including GCSE’s, OCR Nationals, BTEC’s and Wider Key Skills.
The value that we add to our students is very good. Our school’s contextual value added is 1031.7 which potential places us in the top 5% of all school nationally, which is an amazing achievement.
