Councillor Harrison has a background of many years experience in the aerospace industry. He was elected onto the City Council in 1996 and has been a Justice of the Peace since 1983.
In May 2009 he was inaugurated as Lord Mayor of the City of Coventry. The ceremony took place in Coventry Cathedral. The Lord Mayor’s charity appeal will support:

• Neonatal Unit, University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire
• Children in Care
