Careers Advice Service expands to provide impartial support for Adults and the local community
Coventry young people's information advice and guidance services and Next Step, the adult careers service, have joined up to provide free face-to-face support on careers, employment and training for people of all ages.
Both young and older Coventry residents can receive support from qualified advisers on career and future planning, finding training opportunities, developing CVs, application forms, job searching and interview skills.
The free service is delivered by CSWP The Careers Guidance Company and Next Step.
Malcolm Emerson, Operations Manager at CSWP The Careers Guidance Company, said, "Our services have expanded which means our Careers Guidance specialists can now provide advice to anyone in Coventry, whatever their age or circumstances. This is particularly important in the current climate; the recession has affected all age ranges in a wide variety of industries and we are here to support people in considering their future options and opportunities.
"Our advice is for anyone to contact us because we are here to help with impartial careers advice and guidance. As well as young people we can now offer advice and guidance to parents, family members and others in the local community."
The service is available at a number of local venues across Coventry.
